Thought I would add some more pictures of the Petrified National Forest we visited again this week. It is amazing to see all the petrified trees that cover the country side. This entire forest was covered in sediment and for a million years the trees slowly transformed into rock. Through erosion the petrified wood was exposed.
Agate Bridge; petrified tree. They supported it with concrete to preserve.

In addition to the trees there are plenty of Petroglyphs to see in the park.
And it may not have been Walmart, but they can be see at any grocery store.
