Currently in Salt Lake City. Got here Sunday and it was a beautiful drive here from The Orchard RV Park. 268 miles with no problems.

On April 1st we took a hike to get some steps in for April. I ended up with 7500 steps when done with hike. The trail was just outside of Kanarraville at Spring Creek Canyon Trailhead. We had to cross the creek close to a dozen times there and back. Because of the rain and snow there was a lot of mud on the trail. Excellent trail to walk with the temp in the 40's.

Also snowed one day while at the Orchard RV Resort.

At the KOA in SLC it started to snow early Monday morning. We had 2-3 inches when we left at 9 am to take Diane to the Mormon Family Center to work on her Genealogy searches. Buddy and I were on our own Monday and again today. Diane will be working at the Center for at least 3 days. Yesterday, she spent about 6.5 hours there gathering historic records.

It snowed again last night and is expected to continue into Wednesday. Mountain roads are closed as some areas are getting 34-30 inches of snow. We should get 4-8 here in the city.

Its a good thing this KOA has a Propane filling station as we are going to need it. Setting record high temp today at 36 degrees. Snowfall at all ski resorts have set records snow falls with one resort getting over 820 inches of snow. Concern now is for flooding as snow begins to melt. Highs Thursday should be close to 50 which is good as we pull out on Friday for Moab Utah.

Snow covered mountains on our drive to Salt Lake City

Below; this guy got himself stuck at the Orchard RV Park. It is a new park and with all the rain it was really soft in some sites. His 5th wheel had 3 wheels sunk to the axles  and he dug the pickup truck dug in also.

They ended up calling a tow truck as they broke the grill guard on the Pickup truck and snapped the tow strap and a second pull. Tow truck lowered his lift bar into the dirt and hooked up cables to the pickup. The tow truck's lift bar dug into the ground anchoring it allowing the cables to do the work.

We are so happy we left Wisconsin to get away from the snow.
